      It has been the mission of Thoracic Park Alternative Health to create a health care facility that stands apart from all other establishments. In no time at all, the word got out and this unique facility was sought after by patients from all over Connecticut. It's no surprise that Thoracic Park sees a lot of patients from Waterbury, Wolcott, Cheshire, Naugatuck, Beacon Falls and Bethany for proximity and accessibility. It may come as a surprise that people have traveled as far as Milford, Torrington, New Haven, New Milford, Danbury and Massachusetts because of the care they couldn't find elsewhere.
      Most people assume that Chiropractic offices only treat neck and back injuries. This couldn't be further from the truth. Thoracic Park sees patients with a whole host of musculoskeletal conditions such as knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle injuries. Conditions like infertility, asthma, allergies, sinus problems, urinary tract conditions, irritable bowel syndrome, Lupus, C.R.E.S.T. syndrome, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, neuropathies, post treatment cancer recovery, stress and ear conditions can be treated with acupuncture. We offer traditional needle acupuncture as well as laser acupuncture and electro acupuncture.
      Thoracic Parkk understands that health also encompasses prevention and lifestyle changes. This includes postural correction, performance enhancement for athletes, weight loss and to help those quit smoking. We offer a variety of programs to address these needs, which helps separate us from the office down the street.
      Thoracic Park also offers a variety of soft tissue treatments such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release and muscle stripping which is beneficial for sports injuries and chronic soft tissue inflammatory conditions.
