Upper Hand Sports Institute is available for boot camps and weekend
training retreats. Training is available for baseball, football, tennis,
golf, volleyball, hockey, basketball, swimming and track. We can work
either directly with your team or train your staff to add our proprioception
training to your current curriculum. These techniques will teach your
players balance, coordination and speed. We train the body to perform
at peak levels with lower energy expenditure. We take for granted how
much muscle activity we waste just to keep our balance or pivot on the
run. Targeting the under active musculoskeletal groups involved in these
activities allows the body to save it energy for things like running,
kicking and throwing as opposed to tapping those resources to keep us
upright. Think of the gymnast that sticks their foot plant rather than
a body that is flailing to maintain an erect posture. The place kicker
or soccer player who can plant the one foot with limited side to side
muscle stability will have an advantage over the athlete that has to
fire those muscles to compensate for poor neuromuscular feedback. He
who can do more with less has a distinctive advantage over someone working
