Upper Hand Sports Institute has tailored a program to meet the individual goals for the athlete who wants to gain that competitive edge. We accomplish this by focusing on the elements that are often minimized or overlooked altogether in many athletic training programs. We work on proprioception, agility, footwork, hand eye coordination, explosive speed and power, injury prevention and lower energy expenditure. These components are the "it factor" that separates the elite from the rest. Knowing how to play the game isn't enough today as athletes are stronger, quicker and more experienced than years ago. Our goal is to help you out perform the competition with less physical effort. We train the muscles to perform at their peak by teaching them to use their energy for speed and power rather than wasting resources for stability. We take for granted how much our muscles have to compensate for poor biomechanics. We also look to address the small muscle groups involved with the specific athletics. Baseball players will use different muscle groups than football players or swimmers. Training the muscles under resistive load while mimicking the biomechanics of the sport will have a greater impact than static training. In other words, you have to train swimmers like swimmers and baseball players like baseball players. Footwork and agility training are pivotal in so many sports. The ability to gain explosive speed and propelling bursts enhance offensive attack while evasion and mirroring training create a greater defensive barrier that will suffocate the competition.

The upper hand program can be used for almost any sport and the techniques do not conflict with any current training program. It is made to enhance and improve the skills you already have and not compete or replace them.
