1. What is the Kwik Kids program?
Kwik Kids is a one hour class designed to promote balance, coordination
and agility. It is designed to provide a fun athletic outlet for both
the athlete and those who are looking for some physical exercise outside
of organized sports programs.
2. Will this class help my baseball player improve?
It can help by increasing foot stabilization that affects batting stance.
In addition, speed, agility, hand eye coordination and injury prevention
should all substantially improve with the class helping to enhance skill
levels.
3. Is this class good for people who are not athletic?
Yes, the class can be both fun and athletically rewarding to anyone
regardless of their athletic ability or skill. It is designed to challenge
everyone so we avoid the pitfalls of having people get bored if they
find certain activities too easy or frustrated if activities are too
challenging. Participants are allowed to advance at their own pace with
no competitive undertones.
4. Do you have programs for teens and adults?
Yes. We focus on some of the same fun challenging elements we do with
our other class but adjust it appropriately for the age group. Agility,
footwork, balance, core stabilization, coordination and cardiovascular
activity make this a fun and challenging alternative to other athletic
classes. If you are looking for something different than what your gym
can offer consider upper hand sports institute's adult and teen class.
5. Does your private class conflict with my son's coaches training?
Absolutely not. We do not intend or want to be misconstrued as a replacement
for any athletic program coach. We do not teach sports, plays or the
like. We focus only on agility, proprioception, injury prevention, cardiovascular,
core stabilization and speed training to help enhance athletic performance.
Your coaches are there for a reason and they do their jobs well. We
offer training only in the areas mentioned and in no way will alter
any training put forth by the athletic leaders.
6. Do you guarantee results?
It is impossible to guarantee that someone will win a game or hit a
homerun after taking our program, but we can say that anyone completing
an upper hand course and practicing regularly will show improved proprioceptive
abilities compared to their initial class. Guaranteeing anything above
that is impossible due to the unpredictability of sports.
7. Can your program help with any sport?
Yes. Each sport has it’s unique biomechanics and requirements.
We customize our training to address the unique components of each sport.
Training will not only enhance the specific skills required for each
sport, but add improved proprioception and conditioning to help with
any athletic endeavor.
